Well, I'm wrong a lot, but doomsday objects that aren't mechanical are cool too. You know:

Lots and lots of nooses made out of spaghetti

A candle that can burn the world

Cruel shoes, extremely frickin' cruel shoes

Shadows that make their own shadows and eventually pile up and create a replicating and infernal darkness where person by person all five senses go numb

I think you substituted a "but" for a "because" in that first sentence.

Also, buymeaclue is wrong. Legions of tiny spaghetti nooses are definitely awesome.
