Reading Kathe Koja's blog I was surprised to be in it.

Not because our interview wasn't recent but because I'm writing so much that everything is blurry...

The interview with the scintillating and sometimes terrifying Kathe Koja is here at Bookslut...
http://www.bookslut.com/features/2008_09_013428.php

And an interview with Max Sauco, russian photomanipulator and weirdly erotic visual artist who doesn't speak English but can type it some, is in the always wonderful and dreamy and sometimes highly disturbing Sirenia Digest...

(which is adults only and by subscription, so please be an adult and subscribe)

And a "Weirdism" about the Black Sun industrial music festival, with special attention paid to the spooky and haunting music of Ego Likeness is in Weird Tales.

Stephen Archer (of Ego Likeness) has Lovecraft-inspired artwork here:

and Donna Lynch (just guess the pattern) has a new novel on Raw Dog Screaming that she talks about on Youtube:

Someday I'll do an interview with you!

(Oh, wait... *checks inbox, frets, goes back to typing as fast as possible, figuring it'll all be okay someday*)

This means I need to go out and actually find this issue of weird tales.

(did I make the cut? ;) )

If memory serves, everyone I actually hung out with (including an interview with Tom Shear) didn't make it into the final version.

Alas. Alack.

I hope you can find it in your heart to understand that the story was edited (very well, I might add) to such a degree that any of the funner stuff that I wanted to leave in just didn't fit any more.

Alas. Alack.

I have dug through my files and found a hard copy of the part that I wrote about you that was yanked by one of the people who edited, so I feel redeemed because I have evidence to prove that I tried.

Then again, several versions were three times too long.

I scintillate? That is lovely to hear.

(Although I terrify only on the page, right? And then rarely.)
